Vivendi set to announce management restructure - report

Vincent Bollore, firmly at the helm of French entertainment and technology group Vivendi has called for increased integration of pay TV subsidiary Canal Plus's subsidiaries. Vivendi will announce its results on 2 September, the day before the next board meeting of Canal Plus. Vivendi is buying the last outstanding shares. A new management structure will be created to build a team to relaunch Canal Plus, someone familiar with the matter told Les Echos. Canal Plus chairman Bertrand Meheut (64) is expected to retire and interim CEO Maxime Saada is expected to assume the role on a full basis.
