Vivendi subsidiary starts offering Canal Box fibre service in Gabon

Friday 27 October 2017 | 09:27 CET | News
Vivendi's subsidiary GVA (Group Vivendi Africa) has officially unveiled its Canal Box broadband service, which the company started rolling out in selected areas of Gabon's capital Libreville during the summer. The service brings fibre-to-the-home connectivity to residential and business customers over GVA's own aerial fibre access network, being deployed over the electricity pylons of Gabon's utility company SEEG (Societe d'Energie et d'Eau du Gabon).
