Vivendi's FY results to fall short of expectations

Friday 12 January 2018 | 10:45 CET | News
Vivendi has issued a statement ahead of the release of its FY results on 15 February, announcing that it will report revenue growth close to 5 percent at constant currency and perimeter for 2017, while organic growth for group EBITA will be in the region of 20-25 percent, after exceptional costs incurred by Canal Plus. These results fall short of the guidance reiterated in November 2017, when the company said that it expected underlying revenue growth of more than 5 percent and a rise in EBITA of around 25 percent.
