Vivo leads in 8 of 10 mobile market indicators in Q2

Vivo led in eight out of ten indicators on the mobile market in Brazil monitored by the Teleco consultancy in the second quarter of 2016. Vivo was top for market share (28.9%), post-paid market share (42.4%), net mobile additions (+3.28 million), net revenue (BRL 6.3 billion), data revenue (55.7% of service revenue), growth in net service revenue (+2.6%), ARPU (BRL 27.20) and 2G/3G/4G coverage. TIM was top for pre-paid market share (28.1%), while Claro led in mobile broadband share (29.4%).
