
Smartphone market Vivo has developed a new visual brand identity, with a new company logo, unique Vivo brand colour and exclusive Chinese Language and English Language Vivo fonts. With the new brand, Vivo wants to show its innovation and “creative spirit”, and appeal to a large, global, audience, including young people. Danish designer Bo Linnemann helped design the new logo, which features simplified lines and sharpened angles to reflect the forward-looking spirit of Vivo.
The company has also revamped its "Vivo Blue" colour by using a more saturated shade of blue. The new colour has been found to be more soothing to the eye and an “ideal visual backdrop” for the company's creative and expressive character. The new English language font was also designed by Linnemann. The Chinese language font was designed by Chinese calligrapher Qiu Yin, respectively.
The new branding will be updated to VI systems and rolled out to offline channels with immediate effect.
