
Vodafone brings 4G network to Rome, Milan

Vodafone Italia announced it will introduce its LTE network in Rome and Milan from 30 October. After these two cities, it plans to cover 20 cities with 4G by March 2013. Prior to the official launch, Vodafone conducted a series of trials in Ivrea, Brusson in Valle d'Aosta, the Vodafone Village (company HQ), as well as Vodafone shops in Rome and Milan. According to local press reports, Vodafone Italia is expected to initially launch two 4G offers. The first will cost EUR 40 per month and include 15 GB plus an Internet Key or Wi-Fi device, while the second will cost EUR 45 per month for 30 months and include a Samsung Galaxy 8.9 tablet and 15 GB of traffic monthly.
