Vodafone Group CEO Vittorio Colao has criticised a pledge by Hutchison not to raise prices for customers if the EC approves the merger of 3 UK and O2 UK, reports The Telegraph. Colao described the wording as 'interesting', adding that Hutchison only said it would not increase the price per gigabyte. He expressed doubt about what a 'prize freeze' means, adding that it was difficult to commit to this from an investment perspective. Colao also warned against 're-monopolisation' of the European mobile market.
