Vodafone delivers M2M services to Kone Group

Vodafone has been selected by elevator and escalator company Kone to provide M2M remote monitoring technology. The M2M technology will support the creation of a new diagnostics service to schedule proactive maintenance tasks. As a result, a Vodafone M2M SIM card is embedded into each Kone lift, enabling operational data to be sent and received over the Vodafone network, including daily update logs.
