Vodafone Germany installs 5G in e-car production plant

Vodafone and Ericsson have equipped the plant with Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) and Network Slicing. Small real-time data centres process data directly in the production hall. A total of 36 small mobile antennas enable bandwidths in the gigabit range and low latency of a few milliseconds in the production and logistic spaces.
