Vodafone Germany lays out plans to roll out gigabit-speed internet in mobile, fixed by September

Tuesday 12 June 2018 | 14:48 CET | News
Vodafone Germany announced at CEBIT 2018 that Dusseldorf and Frankfurt are set to become Germany's first gigabit cities for mobile services as of September 2018, after the company has set up numerous high-speed mobile base stations for speeds up to 1 Gbps. In practice, customers will have widespread access to speeds up to well over 700 Mbps, meaning that more Vodafone customers will be able to stream live sporting events or send and download videos and documents.
