Vodafone Germany starts operating first wind-powered LTE site in Torgelow

Vodafone Germany said that it has started to operate its first LTE mobile station powered by wind energy in Torgelow, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in cooperation with the greentech start-up Mowea. The LTE station has been equipped with four small wind turbines provided by Mowea.
