Vodafone Germany to cut jobs after Unitymedia takeover

The layoffs may take place both at Vodafone and Unitymedia in Germany. In total, Unitymedia employ 2,700 people and Vodafone around 16,000. External service providers will be used to create new permanent jobs. In addition, Vodafone expects about 400 new vacancies over the next two years, the report added.
