Monday 15 January 2018 | 11:07 CET | News
Vodafone Germany is planning to roll out gigabit-speed internet access in the first pilot region where it recently switched off its analogue TV and radio distribution, a Vodafone spokeswoman told Broadband TV News. The company is preparing to launch 1 Gbps internet based on the cable standard Docsis 3.1 in the Bavarian region of Landshut and Dingolfing, where Vodafone completed its analogue switch-off on 09 January 2018. Marketing for the gigabit-speed service will be announced at a later date, said Broadband TV News.
