Vodafone Group completes share buyback

Tuesday 21 May 2019 | 17:11 CET | News
Vodafone Group announced that it has completed its share buyback programme announced in January. Managed independently by JP Morgan, the aim of the buyback was to offset the dilution created by the maturity of a convertible bond. Vodafone purchased in total 799.1 million shares, using the USD 2.5 billion it received last year from Verizon as final payment for its stake in Verizon Wireless.
