Vodafone Hungary, UPC merger developments to continue in coming months

Wednesday 1 July 2020 | 15:15 CET | News
Vodafone Hungary said there is still work to be done until UPC's previous technical systems are fully integrated with Vodafone. The legal merger of Vodafone Hungary and UPC Hungary took place on 1 April, and the two companies became a legal entity. Vodafone said it aims to replace the existing situation as soon as possible by accelerating integration and redirect services to its own network as soon as possible. Vodafone, as the legal successor of UPC, started carrying on UPC's service portfolio in Hungary from 1 April.
