Vodafone Hungary upgrades LTE-A network to gigabit speeds

Vodafone Hungary said it reached 1Gbps on its LTE-A network with a Samsung Galaxy S9+ handset during a demonstration. The operator is now switching on the upgrade in more and more places across the country, including in a number of cities and in settlements around Lake Balaton, after initially introducing LTE-A in February 2017 in the capital Budapest and Tatabanya.
