Vodafone Italia, Yamaha present connected scooter app

Yamaha and Vodafone have taken advantage of their appearance at the EICMA 2016 Motorcycle Show in Milan to launch their "My TMAX Connect" app for connected scooters. Owners of the new Yamaha TMAX DX and TMAX SX scooters will be able to use the smartphone app to access a wide range of data relating to their bikes, including GPS-enabled tracker functionality as well as remote horn and flasher functions, low battery alert, speed alert, geofence and trip reports. In a joint statement, the companies said the app helps protect the scooter from theft thanks to Vodafone's 24/7 localisation and
