Vodafone Netherlands expands 4G+ coverage

Vodafone Netherlands has expanded its 4G+ coverage to 130 municipalities, mainly around the largest cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, as well as the northern Wadden islands. Vodafone spokesman Richard Mes could not provide details on how many customers are using the faster 4G service, noting few handsets are available on the market yet apart from some Samsung devices. The total 4G customer base at Vodafone numbers around 1.4 million, up from 1.2 million in March. The 4G+ service was first launched late last year and uses aggregation of the 800 and 1,800 MHz bands to offer
