Vodafone NL comes with new round of cost saving measures

Vodafone Netherlands has announced a new round of cost saving meaures, especially among business units without direct customer contacts. The company wants to maintain its high service levels. Vodafone NL said the dim economic outlook has made it necessary to bring down operational costs and bring about greater efficiency. The measures are in addition to the ones announced on 12 November, when the company came out with interim results for its European operations. The company added that it may not be able to avoid redundancies, since salaries make up a good share of operational costs. "These
