Vodafone NL to scrap 77 jobs

Vodafone Netherlands has asked its Works Council for advice on the reorganisation it announced in January. The operator said on 10 January that it wanted to reduce operational costs, sparing customer-oriented divisions as much as possible. The company is looking to cut 50 percent of costs by reducing personnel expenses. The company said it was looking to scrap 77 jobs out of a total of 3,200 Dutch employees: 69 people from Vodafone NL and 8 people from Vodafone Retail's headquarters.
