Vodafone, Nokia develop 4G incident detection prototype

Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) has signed a partnership agreement with Nokia to deliver a proof of concept (PoC) to demonstrate how Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) powered by 4G networks can improve public safety. The PoC will combine mobile edge computing, 4G networks, IoT sensors, NFV, and video analytics to improve public safety.
