Vodafone offers home working for call centre agents

Vodafone Netherlands is introducing home-working for its call centre agents. Around 200 employees will have the right from 01 March to work up to 40 percent of their hours outside the office. During a test of the system, 22 employees worked from home three days a week. They were found to be more productive at home, with shorter call times, as well as more satisfied and better evaluated by customers (9 percent higher NPS).
