Vodafone secures 4th mobile licence in Zambia - report

Vodafone has reportedly been given a licence to operate a fourth mobile phone network in Zambia, ITWeb reported, citing a source close to the company. The source said there are plans to launch local operations either in April or in May in a market that is dominated by MTN Zambia with over 5 million customers. The company is also said to be recruiting University of Zambia (UNZA) students and graduates as employees and marketing agents.
