Vodafone selects NewNet's IP messaging gateway for VoLTE

Vodafone Germany said it has selected NewNet's IP Short Messaging Gateway for integration within its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) network. The gateway provides mobile operators using existing messaging platforms such as short message service centres (SMSCs) to deliver IP-based messaging with or without interaction from the Krypton RCS Application Server.
