Vodafone Spain reaches deal to air F1, MotoGP next season

Vodafone Spain has reached an agreement with Telefonica to broadcast Formula 1 and MotoGP races starting next season, reports Cinco Dias, citing the operator's CEO Antonio Coimbra. The deal comes after Vodafone lodged a complaint with communications regulator CNMC over Telefonica's failure to offer its rivals wholesale access to premium digital content, including Formula 1 and MotoGP, this season. Vodafone eventually opted to negotiate directly with Telefonica, and Coimbra announced at the 30th telecommunications and digital economy meeting in Santander that the operator's customers will have
