Vodafone Spain renews fleet with low-emission vehicles

Vodafone Spain said it has begun renewing its fleet and pool vehicles with low-emission plug-in hybrids from Mercedes-Benz. A total of 613 vehicles will be replaced, with the company also pledging to promote efficient driving habits among employees with a view to significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The operator said emissions associated with the use of fuels in its fleet of vehicles accounted for 2.3 percent of total direct emissions last year.
