Vodafone, Sprint to lead new TIP group Open RAN 5G NR

The Telecom Infra Project (TIP) announced at MWC in Barcelona a new project group named Open RAN 5G NR, led by co-chairs Sprint and Vodafone. Hardware, software and integration vendors participating in the project include Airspan, Altiostar, Aricent, Arm, Intel, Parallel Wireless, Tech Mahindra and Qualcomm.
