Vodafone stops lobbying for BT breakup - report

Vodafone UK has dropped its drive to force the breakup of BT as it refocuses on how to respond to the merged BT and EE, people familiar with the matter told the Telegraph. Vodafone's lobbying operation will target more readily achievable regulatory measures to help it compete in the shifting telecom market. Vodafone is reportedly preparing to enter the broadband and TV business over BT Openreach's national FttC network.
