Vodafone switches to Sims made of recycled plastic

Tuesday 19 October 2021 | 11:35 CET | News
Vodafone announced it's moving to Sim cards made from recycled plastic, as part of efforts to reduce its impact on the environment. Starting this month, Vodafone will provide customers with the new Eco-SIMs in the half-sized format made from recycled plastic, progressively replacing the Sim cards currently made from new plastic. The Eco-SIMs produced by Thales will be rolled out in all 12 of Vodafone's European markets, in addition to Egypt, Turkey and South Africa.
