Vodafone to offer LTE in Berlin North-South train tunnel

Vodafone Germany has completed the improvement of its mobile network in North-South tunnel in Berlin. From 4 May of this year, Vodafone customers can use LTE service while travelling on the S-Bahn between the North station and Anhalter station. The operator has invested EUR 12 million in renewing all cables and equipment in the tunnel, which will be re-opened at 4.00 hours on 4 May.
