Vodafone Turkey invests in renewable energy

Vodafone Turkey said it invested in local rooftop solar energy project 'Adana Bulut Teknoloji Merkezi.' With this investment, it will increase its use of renewable energy resources as it aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent and use 100 percent renewable energy by 2025.    

After the project's completion, an average of 768 thousand kWh of electricity will be produced annually and 20 percent of the annual electricity demand of the 'Adana Bulut Teknoloji Merkezi' technology centre will be supplied from renewable energy. The project is expected to cost approximately TRY 4 million.
