Vodafone UK CEO to head new Vodafone-Ziggo JV in Netherlands
Vodafone and Liberty Global have proposed Jeroen Hoencamp as the CEO of their planned 50-50 joint venture in the Netherlands. Ritchy Drost, currently CFO of Ziggo and a long-time Liberty Global executive, was named CFO of the new company. 

A Dutch national, Hoencamp is CEO of Vodafone UK since September 2013 and worked previously as head of Vodafone Ireland. Prior to that he was an executive for 12 years at Vodafone Netherlands, in positions such as sales director and enterprise unit director. 

Ahead of the expected closing of the joint venture deal later this year, Hoencamp will become CEO of Vodafone Netherlands from 01 September. The previous CEO, Rob Shuter, announced a month ago that he's stepping down to join MTN. Ziggo's CEO Baptiest Coopmans is expected to join the supervisory board of the joint venture, as a representative for Liberty Global. 

Vodafone Group named its Enterprise Chief Executive Nick Jeffery to take over as CEO of Vodafone UK. His replacement as Enterprise chief will be announced later. Jeffery joined Vodafone in 2004 and has headed various enterprise activities at the group, including as CEO of Cable & Wireless, since 2006.

Vodafone Netherlands reported service revenue for its fiscal first quarter to June down 2.2 percent year-on-year to EUR 425.9 million, hurt by mobile price competition and the cut to EU roaming prices. Vodafone UK offers fibre broadband to small businesses

Vodafone UK has announced availability of Superfast Fibre broadband service for small business customers. Vodafone is offering small business fibre broadband and phone packages from GBP 30.99 per month (excluding VAT) for fibre broadband and line rental (with 24-month contract). The Smart Divert allows a business to divert its landline calls to mobiles when out on the road.
