Vodafone UK repeats call for BT to sell Openreach

Vodafone UK has called for BT to spin off its Openreach broadband network into a separate company in its submission to regulator Ofcom's once in a decade telecom industry review. Vodafone argues that the former state-owned operator is benefiting from a GBP 5.5 billion advantage over its rivals because of its taxpayer funded network. Earlier this month TalkTalk and Sky called for the break-up of BT, with TalkTalk CEO Dido Harding attacking Openreach's service record.
