Vodafone UK reports Q3 revenue up 1%

Mobile operator Vodafone UK reported service revenue up 0.9 percent to GBP 1.532 billion in the quarter to the end of December 2014, supported by growth in mobile consumer and enterprise, and improvements in fixed line. Mobile revenue rose 2 percent to GBP 1.06 billion, reversing a 3.0 percent decline in the previous quarter, and ARPU was stable year-on-year at GBP 17.8. The operator added 76,000 postpaid mobile customers and 109,000 prepaid users in the quarter, for a total base of 19.85 million at the end of 2014. 4G customers grew to 2.2 million.
