VodafoneZiggo promotes public transport among staff

Friday 10 August 2018 | 10:33 CET | News

VodafoneZiggo announced that it's giving all its 7,500 employees a Business Card with the national rail service NS in order to encourage them to use public transport. The company expects this should reduce the travel footprint of its workforce by around 35 million kilometres or around 3,500 tons of CO2 each year.

The move comes as the company moves into a new headquarters next to Utrecht's central rail station. This is the busiest station in the country, with connections to all of the Netherlands.
