VodafoneZiggo says Q1 strongest quarter since merger

Wednesday 9 May 2018 | 11:31 CET | News
Update: 9 May 2018 | 14:30 CET
The Dutch operator said its performance in the quarter was the best since the formation of VodafoneZiggo at the end of 2016. It added nearly 12,000 revenue-generating units in cable and almost 5,000 new mobile Sims, driven by its converged offering. At the end of the quarter, 920,000 of the operator's total 3.9 million fixed customers used the converged offer, after an increase of 48,000 in Q1. These households accounted for about 1.3 million mobile Sim cards. However, the discounting associated with the fixed-mobile offer also weighed on revenues.
