VodafoneZiggo seconds concerns over spectrum policy

Tuesday 14 March 2017 | 10:53 CET | News
VodafoneZiggo has seconded KPN's concerns about the Dutch government's spectrum policy. Spokesman Richard Mes told Telecompaper that while it was positive the state was working on a long-term policy, it was not following European initiatives close enough. Where possible, VodafoneZiggo will try to work with the other operators to bring its points across. Particular areas of concern include the lack of clarity over 5G spectrum, specifically the 700 MHz and 3.5 GHz bands, and plans to withdraw part of the 2,100 MHz band from mobile use.
