Voice traffic growth slows in Portugal, still up 34% compared to early March

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) estimates that in the week of 29 March voice traffic decreased by 9 percent and data traffic by 11 percent compared to the previous week. However, voice traffic was 34 percent higher than in the period before the start of the Covid-19 contagion protection measures, and data traffic was 35 percent higher than at that time. There has also been significant growth in fixed voice traffic (+96%), and both fixed broadband traffic (+36%) and mobile data traffic (+20%) are also growing.
