Vringo sues ZTE in Malaysia for patent infringement

IP licensing specialist Vringo has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against ZTE in Malaysia. Vringo has sued ZTE Malaysia and ZTE in the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur, alleging infringement of Malaysian Patent MY-142706-A. The patent relates to the handover between different networks initiated by a mobile device. This patent has been declared essential in connection with 3G and 4G LTE standards.
