VTR changes focus towards post-paid market, roaming

Chilean operator VTR plans to redesign its mobile phone business, focusing more on the post-paid segment and expanding its roaming operations. According to Pedro Assael, vice president of products at VTR, the operator has completed the first stage of studying and analysis of the mobile market, and from this experience, has decided to overhaul its business plan. To this end, a series of changes will be introduced, with aim of it becoming more competitive in its price and products, improving the profitability of all its business plans and providing more sustainability to the mobile business,
