VTR converts to full MVNO

VTR Movil has stopped commercially using its mobile telephony network and has converted into a MVNO, reports Diario Financiero. VTR started operations in 2012 with a hybrid model that combined the use of its own network and a roaming agreement with Movistar. In April 2013 it reduced the use of its infrastructure and in September 2013 completed the process of migrating all traffic to Movistar and ceased commercial use of its own network. Finally in December it renegotiated the contract with Movistar so that it will provide services as a full MVNO. According to VTR's own data, it had 79,000
