vzbv wins court ruling over Drillisch paper bill fees

Tuesday 18 February 2014 | 15:04 CET | News
German federal consumers' association vzbv has won a court ruling against mobile services provider Drillisch Telecom. The Frankfurt Court of Appeal has ruled that the company cannot charge customers EUR 1.50 to receive a paper bill by post. The Court has also ruled that the company cannot request a deposit for a SIM card. The Court said that a clause in Drillisch Telecom's contract saying it will impose the charge for paper bills was illegal.
