Walmart may launch low-cost video streaming service - report

US-based retailer Walmart is considering launching a subscription streaming video service, people familiar with the situation told The Information. The company reportedly sees an opportunity to undercut Netflix and Amazon on price and offer a service for less than USD 8 per month, as well as possibly an ad-supported free service.
