Warner Bros to rent films over Facebook

Warner Bros announced plans to start offering digital movie rentals over Facebook, writes the Hollywood Reporter. The service wil start with the film The Dark Night, which can be rented from its Facebook fan page for 30 Facebook credits or USD 3. The film will be available to watch for 48 hours, with time-shift functions and full Facebook access during viewing. While described as a test, the service will be expanded to other films in future Warner Bros said.
