Wavve to invest KRW 1 trillion in video streaming content by 2025

Content Wavve, the operator of South Korean video streaming platform Wavve, has announced plans to invest KRW 1 trillion (approximately USD 882.7 billion) Ito expand its content offering over the next five years, Yonhap news agency reports. Under this investment plan, Wavve will also establish a production studio for original content by the first half of the year. Wavve is a joint venture between South Korean operator SK Telecom and broadcasters KBS, MBC and SBS.
