Waymo, Lyft ink autonomous car development cooperation

Google autonomous car unit Waymo has teamed up with Lyft to test autonomous cars on the road, the New York Times reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. The companies will work together on pilot projects and product development. The deal was confirmed by both firms.
