Google Fiber announced plans to expand to Seattle, using its Webpass arm. The company will target multiple-dwelling units, starting with 1521 Second Avenue, a 40-story tower located above Pike Place Market. More buildings will be added throughout the city, and residents of other apartment and condo buildings can contact the company about arranging their own connection. Webpass delivers an Ethernet-based service with gigabit speeds.
