Wemacom fails FTTH take-up target in Plau am See

Wednesday 21 December 2016 | 11:07 CET | News
German regional provider Wemacom has pushed back its timeline for rolling out FTTH in Plau am See after failing to secure sufficient numbers of pre-contracts. The company announced it had delayed its customer deadline to 31 March 2017 after receiving just 322 pre-contracts by 19 December, short of the 900 necessary to proceed with the roll-out. If the necessary numbers are achieved, Wemacom will proceed with the installation of the glass fibre network.
