Wexnet achieves 98% gigabit broadband availability in Lessebo

Swedish network Wexnet said that fibre expansion is progressing in Lessebo and that 98 percent of residences and businesses there have access to or are close to a gigabit broadband connection, hitting the national govenrment's target five years early. Lessebo local council in Kronoberg county is aiming to expand the population to 10,000 and wants to make it an attractive place to live and trade, with connectivity outside the centre, too.
