WhatsApp launches coronavirus info hub with WHO and UN, donates USD 1 mln to fact-checking network

The WhatsApp messaging application has announced the launch of a service with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to provide information about Covid-19. WhatsApp will also make a USD 1 million donation to the Poynter Institute's International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN).
